Road Trip 2010 - The GoFishOnt.com Hardwater Challenge: Day 1

As we did last year, we'll be heading down to the Bay of Quinte for some more great fishing! We're going to keep it casual again, there will be some prizes, and a small entry fee, but the focus will be on fun and catching some fish! All donations and fees collected are re-distributed as prizes!

For those that wish, we've made arrangements with a local motel and also with a restaurant close by for the after-fish fun. Many will go down Friday to get set up and have an early fish, and Sunday will be an optional fish for those that wish to do so. As always, weather permitting. Hello and welcome to GoFishONT. Our purpose is to provide a fun and friendly message board for all those interested in fishing, and where people feel welcome to participate.

We have a definite focus on Lake Simcoe, but we don't just stop there. Many of the members share their fishing stories from all parts of Ontario, and beyond. We love to hear of your fishing experiences and see pictures no matter where you catch them. We enjoy a good joke and just general banter. We have different levels of access depending on whether you're just browsing through, a registered member, or a VIP member with a few extra goodies thrown in.

And our philosophy is simple. Treat others with courtesy and respect and they will treat you back the same way. No long list of rules to remember. Just keep it friendly and remember that fisherpersons of all ages could be reading your posts. You don't even have to be a great fishing pro to participate, you just need an interest and appreciation of the sport. It's all about having fun and spending some quality time on the open water.
