FYI, just want to let you know that there is a soft spot off Chapman in Belle Ewart.  It is now marked with a Christmas tree.  Be careful and watch for the water on top of the ice it might be another soft spot.  The pressure cracks are causing the water to stay ontop of the ice therefore creating weakend conditions.
