got Bryan's hut out for him today... we put it out off of Minet's with the rest of them looking for the elusive and rare 2008 Simcoe Whitey... and he wasn't found today either for the couple hours I and the missus were out there... kept a close ear/eye out for the neighboring people and chatted to a couple and no one was having any luck out there today for them.. barometric pressure? the alignment of the sun and the moon and the stars? dunno, but now he's ready for them when they do hit and I'll be close by to help!
regards, mike.
maybe Bryan will have some good news when he gets online... he brought his two young daugthers out to enjoy the day.. so I think he would have been tending their lines as much as his own... two sweeties for sure.

| Glad to hear that Bryan got his hut out. Here's hope he will be able to get out there and get some fish other than perch!!

Well guys, I wish I had better news about today....I had one on about 3:00, raised it about 25-30 feet off of the bottom and lost it. It seemed to be really slow everywhere out there today. I did have my kids out....they were a bit of a handfull but fun none the less. we played countless rounds of "I spy with my little eye" and did a bit of fishing. I cant count how mant times they asked me......."why do you like fishing dad"?
Thanks again to Mike, couldnt have done it without you. Hopefully next time out, I will have a better story to tell.

I've never had much "luck" with Minets. I've caught the odd one but nothing consistant like other locations in the bay. I find over Johnsons Beach is a more productive spot. Both areas are good access and short walks.
