Hi,
I know this premature but I am new to the Lake Simcoe fishery, not being an icefisherman I have spent most of my time reading posts from the summer and fall, the soft-water seasons. My initial impression is that Lake Simcoe offers the opportunity to catch many different species of fish as well as the chance to tie into good sized ones. One fish that I have not heard anything about is walleye. Would someone please let me know what the walleye fishing is like on the lake. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the information. I am looking forward to getting out on the Lake when the water is a little softer. I have enjoyed this site, the attitude of the members is very upbeat. People genuinely are trying to help each other. I will watch the different forums and try to add some positive strains when I can. Agian thank you.

| Theyre are lots of big walleye in simcoe, people usually luck into them crappie or perch fishing in the spring.I have seen them in cooks bay, kempenfelt and around big cedar point. But the most fish are found around the talbot river. They are thyre in the spring and then they are gone few people have consistent success targeting these walleye in the summer.
