I am thinking of heading out early Sat. morning for lakers and Whitefish at Bear Point. I have never fished this point and was wondering if anyone had any tips. I will be walking out, is it a far walk to get into 80-100' of water? I am aware of the slush on the lake is this going to be a problem or just a major pain in the a**. Cheers.

You don't have a far walk to get to 80 + fow. Minnow setups, bad boys and spoons are some good ideas ( i believe larger lures work well with the amount of snow that is on the lake, gives more flash/ vibration in conjunction with minimal light penetration. The fish can dial in at longer distances).
Good luck, it should be a nice day out there tomorrow.
