Looking at bringing the misses up to Simcoe for a daytrip. Not knowing Simcoe at all can someone point me into a general area to try. We are open ice fishers and normally hoof it since we will be parking and walking. Do not need a secret hidy hole but a spot or two in the area either by description of co-ordinates would be of great value to us.

Parking locations on or off the ice will do since it is a small firefly that we will be driving.

Not oposed to using an operator or hut if needed just will need the hut operator and rates for one day. Thanks in advance Fry Flier

innisfil Beach park would be a good try. You can hit the perch area and a little farther out Lakers and Whities. Look for the 70-80 fow for the big boys. You'll see the two clusters of huts.  Other places could be BBP or BP. Limited parking at BBP. If you want an operator try Love to fish on the Innisfil side. They have both perch and whitie huts. If heading toward Jackson's point you have Sly on the Lakers.  Keswick side is Whitie which I'm sure you've read his posts.

I'm with RR on the bbp & bp. Not a far walk to the grounds and there's fish around.

Hmmm, sounds pretty well like the area we were fishing for the HWC, just aa little N.E. of the boatramp.

Thanks

Just finished talking with the better half looks like we will not be going until the weekend of the 16th. Pat (Mrs. Fry Flier ) wants me to get my real estate exam behind me for phase one before we go. Write it on the 15th in the Morning so we are thinking of spending the night in Barrie and fishing both days......... Gosh I wonder if I could sqeeze it into a 3rd day.............

Thanks for the heads-up I forgot to check the exceptions on that one.

We will need to rethink our plan of attack from here.
