Its noon and i am still at home lil harse ihas finally got here...fellow fisher calls says he wants to gofish...so i ask lil harse and yup hes in and so i did my dutys and got ready to go ...4 of us head out ...opps    that ever  changing crack , look fer a bit ...ok we find a spot and across we go ...well   its kinna breezie out there ..and the further we  go the werse it gets so we decide  to fish fox shoal area......we got set up and yes we're markin em ...and 2 - 3 at a time ...this should be good spot ...geez i gotta put hut up a bit for wind break ...Just Peachy dont get up u'll blow away ...man it was wild ...shulda stayed home...mike sittin in his hut heat on werkin up a sweat ...and fish ...well nar none again...bout 4 ish we pack  up n head fer shore...back at the crack ...damm i think its werse ...several people looking fer a spot to get across...finally find a place and we all get across...somewhere in the travels lost the protecter grill for my heater but hey crap happens ,,had a fast look but didnt find it...nyways as wild and wacky a day as it was ...still enjoyed !

Conclusion ...surgery needs a bit more rest before i venture out again....

heres a pic from the cell in a calm time aint the best but u get the idea...u can see the snow sticking to boots n tires etc ..

that pic doesnt tell the story of the wind we put up with out there... but all in all glad to get out with a few friends... rest up Horsie and maybe you'll feel up to another time in a week or so

Well we never made it to Simcoe but the wife and I fished the BOQ and man the wind there cut you like a knife as well. Emptied out the sleds and stood them up for windbreaks which helped out quite a bit.

You guys better rest up and locate some fishys this week I am still trying to work out a daytrip for next weekend if I can.
