Well, the bows are good.  Ice gear is in storage today. I know,  there's a whole week of whities to be had, but steelheading Ont is where it's at for this dude.

Thank's for all the updates and reports this winter.

Hope to see some of you streamside.

f.

Oh, we're not straying too far. Still intend to keep in touch, maybe throw a few pics of chromers in the mix.

Not sure what your asking Red, preemo steelheading 1/2 hr from driveway. Maybe do a couple of midweek days during opener. The best fishing is happening as I'm tappin the keys. (day off today, sick as a pooch)

I think I know where you are in that pic....lol.

I'm off to Temagami next week, but when I get back I'm trading in the short rods for the 13'. Can't wait for some more steel.

We'll have to get out for a few drifts in the near future buddy.

Tight Lines.

This will be the spot ASAP....shhhhh

Thats a nice fish Jonny's got there almost makes me want to cancel going to Temagami.....well not quite.  ; )

I will have a full report and pics for you guys when I get back. I hear theres a few 40lbs trout swimming around up there so I am going after 'em.

The cold just adds to the excitment...lol! the average weight in this area I would say is between 3-5lbs but fish up to ten and bigger are around. Let me warn you now if you take up steelheading you WILL be addicted for life : )

Heres another big girl just tease ya. She's still swimming so have at'er.

Down at the river this AM for first light. Toolin NE wind, slush pockets, ice chunks, candle effect line, clear water and drippy nose made for an interesting morning (of survival). Only 3 guys out today and no fish. Not even a takedown. Some days better to watch Izumi.

'spring edition' fishing sounds good this morning.
