Over the last few days i been fishing in several areas fron the jersey river round to barrie marina...and i must say i have caught some of the nicest perch i have caught in a long time...all on plastics pretty well did try a minnow or 2 but got fed up rebaiting after the 2nd one.. so went back to plastics...the usual story lotsa dinks but about every 5 th one was a decent fish from 9 - 12 inches ...makes for an intersting few hrs  ..the next 4 - 5 days holds some poor weather so guess i'll finish up the boat that i shulda have done 4 days ago or head north and try a few spots ... i gofish do you !!

Sounds like you caught your share of nice perch. How cold was the water?

hey dok dok ..i didnt really check the water temp but the last of the ice left this week so brrrrrrrr still ......yes its srinkage water ...aint planning on swimming for a while yet ...lol....I think i may have been cut off from heading to orillia this weekend ...seems i cant get a day pass....the warden has spoken and duties have been assigned...and specks open ...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hey horseshoe,
Honey-Dew lists aren't too fun. I think the only thing worse than that is doing your taxes. That's right, it could be a weekend effort, but somebodies got to do it! ~dokdok
