Its 5 22 am the dam fones ringing and Mrs H is pokin me in da ribs sayin who da H is calling where at this time ( edited to the polite mode) ...well I knew ,,,so up i got and called li'l harse...he's in da car and well on his way here...lets go fishing ....and that we did ,,,its beautiful out and its calm ...so we get all set and off we go ..first stop gas station,,,humm closed and its 6 30 ...ok lets try esso ...its closed too ..oh well heck prolly got nuff nyway ...so lets go launch ...hey dad...this is less than a quarter tank ...OPPPPPSSSSSSSS ...get in the truck boy we headin home for a Jerry can ...okkkkkk now its full of fuel and we can hit the water ...oh boy what a diff 30 mins makes in da parking lot its friggen full i got the last spot... awayyyyyyyy we go smooth sailin...the fishin was a bit slow at first but finally got one ...then we stared marking steady but dam they wouldnt hit ...fooled around and wotched a boat 200 feet away dingin one after another ...thats it we move....30 secs and bang ol harsie got a laker on ...just up to the boat ...he sees the boat and down he goes the drag a smokin...back up and hadda turn hims to the net ...oppps bye bye lakerrrrrrrrr...off he went ...i'd say about 8 lbs ..woulda gone back nyways ,,,well we mark a few miss a few give a few a ride and i say ok dats it we moving ...well went to an ol spot on the gps ...yesssssss what a morning thats spot always seems to do me well what a time...so after a great time a few pictures we headed in ...thanks lady simcoe ..

From the looks of your pics and video, the weather could not have been any better for ya either. That little helper kinda looks like you ... Smart little guy!! It was a really nice day on the lake on Sunday. Glad you did better than OP and I. We didn't make it to the lake until 11:30. OP got one and I was skunked for whities.
I left my cell phone with your number in the truck. I guess I should of called ya for help.
Looking good, keep it up guys as Iam painting on the home front. I need these good storys and photos. By the way thats one way to show a big fish by using a small ice rod.
