| Again thanks to all for the helpful information. On Sunday I am going to head over and investigate Thorah island. Ill start at Woodman Shoal , which like the other does not look like it is marked with bouys. Would it be better to work my way north from the shoal or south and are there any particular spots that are bad with rocks or is the whole side of the island an area to be careul of. Thanks again ...

humm sorry cant help ya there maybe a few of the boys like sly or scottydog or members from that way can help ya there ..personally i m on the wrong side (west shore) ..good luck tho and let us know so if we're asked again we can say ...Dunny been there he knos ...lol

I used to dock my boat in Beaverton and have fished around Thorah Island a bit.
The east side of Thorah Island was full of small mouth bass in 4-10 ft of water. You can launch your boat in Beaverton.

Well BE careful around the South point of Thorah .. Just Past those rocks the fishing gets great .. Fish love to hang out around broken bits of Props ! North from there around the west side is definitely the Way to try ! I tried around Sibbalds and Jackson's Today Nothin' but perch and weeds .. good luck and post back yer days results ...K
