Well it was a nice day on the lake, a bit choppy which made for a wet ride in.  There was not even a nibble all morning, couldnt even catch a small perch. How did everyone else make out.

I made it to Thorah Island and I thank everyone for their cautions about rocks. It was a bit to choppy to investigate them properly but they do look like prime smallie habitat. Especially two large patches at the south east tip of the island.

I look forward to getting at them again

Thanks guys. Ya Mike, I have to agree with you there, boats are scarce. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the gas prices, but also the weather hasn't really been that stable. I think only 2 or 3 times so far, there was multiple days with good weather.

So, I dunno, i'll be out there doin' my part ! Hope to be going tonight rounf 5ish.....

Went out for a couple hours last night on Cook's...........

Nailed 2 pike, lost 1 and had 2 big follows (damn tire kickers !) 2 small bass and lotza perch with my 2 girls.

Tight lines all !
