Well it was a nice day on the lake, a bit choppy which made for a wet ride in. There was not even a nibble all morning, couldnt even catch a small perch. How did everyone else make out.
I made it to Thorah Island and I thank everyone for their cautions about rocks. It was a bit to choppy to investigate them properly but they do look like prime smallie habitat. Especially two large patches at the south east tip of the island.
I look forward to getting at them again

| Glad you got out ... I need a Bigger wallet ... Jeez .. My Starter is DONE on the Lund , and for sure I ain't gonna take a trip that far in the Wilcraft .... There are some real perspective areas out there ! ! Next time you'll get em !

Thanks guys. Ya Mike, I have to agree with you there, boats are scarce. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the gas prices, but also the weather hasn't really been that stable. I think only 2 or 3 times so far, there was multiple days with good weather.
So, I dunno, i'll be out there doin' my part ! Hope to be going tonight rounf 5ish.....

Went out for a couple hours last night on Cook's...........
Nailed 2 pike, lost 1 and had 2 big follows (damn tire kickers !) 2 small bass and lotza perch with my 2 girls.
Tight lines all !

hey toxxik thanks for report n pix....glad u got out and made it up the river..i went shorefishing last nite and shoulda gone in da boat.......not too much mess left in river wonder where they all went .....safe fishing and thanks fer sharing

I think they all must of sunk? Which I have no problem with as the stink is almost gone. Weatherman said T Storms were coming yesterday aft. "LIAR !"
