Hi,
I am looking for a good spot for my 4 year old and I to go fishing. I have many years of experience fishing, but looking for the right place to do it. I don't have a boat, so looking for a spot on the shore that's safe. I would like him to have some really great memories, so any advice or tips for a good spot would really mean a lot.
We live in Barrie and would like to find something close.

Hey Lovinchase, Glad you and your boy chose GoFishOnt to wet your line!! There's a lot of great members here from your area and they will soon get ya started in the right direction. You can get a taste of some of the great memories you seek by reading through their posts. Boy do these guy know how to fish!!!

It great that you want to get your young son started on good memories of fishing experiences. I am fairly new to the Lake Simcoe scene but I have a boat on the lake and if we can set up a time I would be happy to take you and your son out on the lake. My boat is in Cooks bay the water is calmer and there are a lot of perch and pan fish for the little ones using worms. I'm sure you would catch lots of fish. Let me know if you are intertested.
