this is what happened...thursday li'l harse called me wanted to fish friday ...so i say ok but we'll decide the marnin. still calling for t storms we say hey what the heck lets go for a time so by about 8 30 we manage to get the boat into the water and off we go ...now knowing last nite i kinna thought hey will look fer some perch or whatever today ...so we stop at an ol whitie spot , go figure eh ...and after about 10 mins bang ....dammm what a smack and ol horse slept rite thru that one...so now i'm perked and paying attenshun...about 20 mins pass and another decent hit and i miss..geez am i ever rusty ...well i 'm marking fish but no hits ...anyway i think ok lemme try something else ..so i retie and within a few mins in 73 feet of water, tap tap and hook set ...a monster 6 inch perch ..so i called this sly guy and no answer so knew he couldnt be out...oh me nerves so off we go to another spot and nothing ...so another and nothing and another an we stay and we're marking and all of a sudden fish on wooo hoo...lil harse thinks i teasin him then realizes hey the ol boys at it ...out comes the net and yup we got supper..well as we fish we hear some rumbling yup thats the second time we herd it and a 3 rd...lets gooooooooooo...storm in da brew...so about 2 ish we're off the water ..as we pack up the boys in blue (innisfil)pass by with a friendly toot of the horn and wave nice to see them out there.
... was a pretty nice day out there and we had a time .,,,beat the storm and got into the house as the rains came.

Hey Horseshoe, me tummies hurtin' bad !!!, Ohhh myyyyyyyyy ....can't stop, sides are hurtinnn' (lol), ... Great fish day reportin' there Horseshoe and Lil'Harse!!
Now thats a fish tale that puts a big smile on me!! HaHaHaHa ....
You fella's caught some real nice smiley fish  and love the pix (lol) !!

That darn fish and Horseshoe kinda share a family resemblence. Same nose, same mouth.... same beady little eyes..... I'll bet after old Horseshoe cleaned him, they even smelled the same..... before washing up that is. JeJeJe!!!!
How are you guys doing???? Just got off the plane from Peru. The damn rainbows down there think they are musky. Tail walking all over the place and spiting lures right back at ya. If you don't hook them deep and hard, they ain't coming home with you ( kind of reminds me of a couple of girls I use to know back in High School.)

| Oh I got that call .. and i was Out there .But the ole Lund needed some plain old run and gun time .. the engine needed some "SEAFOAM" run thru her .. Hopefully after tomorrows tankfull She'll idle again.. Poor old motor .. Found it on the Bottom of the Madawaska river LMAO ... Can't complain too bad .. Been really reliable right up till I couldn't use her for a while ... Damned ethenol .. I'm assured the Seafoam will help .. It did stay running for me back to load up .. and I never had to start it twenty time to get up the Harbour ... So it must be helping.. Might take a 9.9 and secure it on board just in case .. Who's fishing the weekend ! ? 73 ft ish EH ! ! I could Use a nice little trout like that ! !

I was out fishing today too, kept having to throw these back trying to catch a laker. Oh well maybe Sunday will catch one.
You may want to come down this way horsie, I know you like these greens and we are catching a 3 man limit in about 2 - 3 hours, pretty much every day now.
Shane may want to get one of those OR16 releases for your Torpedo.
