The window to fish was open this morning and we werent long deciding we were gonna head out ...after getting organized a fast cuppa jo and a wee lunch made, we jumped in da truck and headed for the lake ...we took the boat too ..it was beautiful and a bit cool so a jacket was in order ,,,got launched and away we went to an ol fav spot ... the winds were odd screwin my plan of attack up ...first south then east then southeast ..geez ,,,nyway drop the line whammmmm a solid bang ...its all gone hook line n sinker,,,so thats a retie...

Mrs H is sittin there winding up ...and takin em off ...cast out ,,,repeat ...repeat ...repeat and its a keeper nice size too ...ol horsie scrambling now ...repeat and another keeper ..horseshoes into the water an go figure the scools gone ...so we decide we'll keep about dozen er so since the kids are steady on me lately for a fry ...move the boat is the command from the bow...ok ok ...set up the troller ( test day ...all new batteries and connections all cleaned and serviced,,, no problems today ) so i get the troller going and of course its ...turn on the front fish finder...OK heres nudder mistake ...dont demo how stuff werx in ya boat...now its go this way ...no deeeper oh theres fish stop here ...there gone move the boat, we're to shallow ...go deeper ..OH MR NERVES and when the day was all done look at this .,...

Looks like a good supper waiting for the fry pan!! great report.

ps: I think we're going to have a record year for perch.. overall the perch have been bigger this summer.. so I'm thinking it will stay that way on the hardwater.

Wanted to get out again with the kid but I am stuck in a horrible job and it will be a week before I can go fishin.  Can't figure out WHY when we give somebody subsidised housing that they can't take care of it and at least say "Thank You" when they leave.  I was in one yesterday that is almost a total writeoff inside and it has to be gutted before you can put people in it again.  There goes my fishing time:eek:  They ain't my houses and I do get paid to do the work BUT that ain't the point.  I would rather be outfishing Horseshoe than tearing up urine soaked carpets ANY DAY!!! :D

Gag...choke....gasp....retch..... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Damnit
