the missus and I Went out today in kempenfelt - had to make up for yesterday's poor showing. We didnt stay close to the launch where the perch will eventually come to but out along the northern shore.. lots of schools of fish... the smallies were small, all under a pound, but very plentiful... and the perch were mixed... lots of dinks but about 4 nice jumbos, 12+ inches. Between us we probably landed 30 or more fish..all went back for another day of fun. Here's a pic of two of them.

All this fall perch'n talk is driving me nuts.. & it's a short drive too eh..lol..

Nice work fellas!! Keep'er coming!!

I can't make the perch'n Bonanza this 1st weekend in October with you guys (and that get's my goat a little!!:X) I have a 50th B-Day party to attend for one of my best fish'n buds instead. I just wanted to add my contribution to the perch'n fun with ya'll.

Today's efforts in the uncomfortable cool north wind this morning. My photobucket account has forgotten me so I loaded my contribution 4 of 24 yummys this way.

Thanks for your replies fellas:)

& thank you horseshoe, it's nice to know my small adventures were missed. I wish I could have gotten out more this year to share'm with ya.

I'd spent most of my time this year using light tackle hunting crappie on the lake close to home here in Lindsay. I ain't found too many of'm since spring, but had a few muskie attack and shred the perch I'd hooked..:D Cool!! Had a ton of smallies hit that little pink'n white tube & worm combo too.. Have had one on, then two others fighting over the slip bobber a few times..lol.. Gott'a like that.

Yeah dokdok she was a long cool 7+ mile ride as the sun was coming up traveling from Beaverton to the perch'n grounds, but the almost nonstop bite is what keeps the blood a pump'n eh.

Cheers & Tight Lines To All :)

Think'n I might put those crappie on the back burner for a bit horseshoe.. RR and I are making a plan to hunt some fall muskie in the next week or so... Also trying to talk my nephew into leaving his old steel boat at the trailer in Hay Bay till ice up.. From there, she's just a short ride around to Glenora and da fall Quinte walleye bigguns.
