Well I ventured out this morning and it turned into a beautiful day on the lake. I wanted to find some perch. I found a large flock of birds, like had been described here and there were hundreds of cormorants, tearns and gulls.  I actually got in the middle of the birds to the point I could actually see the minnows near the surface that they were feeding on, but alas regardless of where I went I couldnt get a perch to bite.

I did a bit of trolling on the east side of Georgina and picked up a smally in the 4 1/2 pound range. When it hit I actually thought I had snagged bottom.

All was well till all of a sudden my motor wouldnt turn over , but since this happened to me last year I have been carrying a second battery and all turned out well especially since there were only a coupkle of boats on the lake.

Ill try again Sunday ....
