I'm going to be coming up to Simcoe in the next couple of weeks to fish with my Uncle.  I was wondering if anyone could put me in the general area of some decent pike fishing?  I would appreciate any general locations, not looking for anyone's hot spot.

Thanks
PB

two questions first need to be answered. What size of boat do you have and what do you want to fish for.

Pretty much anywhere in bottom  Cooks Bay is good for Pike. On our front page is a young girl holding a pike, that was caught  in the middle of lower Cooks Bay.

Thanks Mike S.

Redfisher:  As stated in the title the target will be pike.  My Uncle has a 16ft with 25 hp 4 stroke so we are good to get around the bay.  He lives in Gilford and has fished the lake for years, but I thought it would be cool if for once I could put us onto some fish instead of the other way around;).

no problem, go get 'em!! We havent gone out much this year for them , but we did notice a decline of quality pike after the Carp die-off... coincidence? maybe.

regards, Mike.
