Will where does one start --- o the alarm at 3 am then wake Scotty up. We out the door by 3:30 to meet up with Slug and Oldphart at 4 am. Then off for a nice drive to meet up with a few more of Oldpharts buds at 6.am but we are getting closer to the lake X... . It was a nice little walk out on the lake, not much snow only getting down the hill at first. Not to tell lies but every one was hitting and landing fish around me and scotty for a good three hours. I was moving around checking depth and getting pissed off. after # 12 or 14 fish I checked out the boys set-up. Will I to can learn so I changed up and BANG with in two min I landed my first one. The scotty changed and Bang a hit but lost that one. We finished up the day with our limit and a great day out with friends. The photo will tell the rest.Attachment: team.jpg (Downloaded 63 times)

It was an excellent day on the lake with a great bunch of guys. We could not have asked for a better day out on the lake.
This is our fearless leader who showed us the way to the lake.

Redfisher fighting his first laker of the day after everyone has limited out. Well almost everyone except for Scott. The key was the dropshot settup with the hooks about a feet off bottom.

The result....Have you ever seen a happier guy ice fishing?

Our fishing guy living up to his Oldphart name was left fish alone by the end of the day. I will let everyone guess why.

Us waiting for Scotty to get his fish so we can go home. Couldn't leave him skunk for the day. See the relief on Redfisher face after finally icing his limit.

Scotty fighting the last fish of the day. He worked mighty hard to chase the skunk away.

Oldphart had majority of the fish pics and I am sure he will post a more detail report later. It was another fanastic day on the lake. Redfisher and Scott, nice to finally fish with you.

Bryan, we called the lake "X" due to respecting someone else's fishing hole who has asked us to keep the name of the lake being posted online and later having a 100 people show up on the lake.
As for the rig it was just a dropshot rig with one hook a few inches off bottom and another hook about a feet off bottom.
