For those that use minnows for bait ( i do but rarely) i heard today that minnows are in short supply so if ur planning on fishing and planning on hittting a favorite bait store...best u be prepared for ...sold out ! Some places do have alternative bait that you can use and then theres always the good ol plastic ..yessssssss...be safe ,,,,ice changes rapidly in the spring sun
