| A Reminder that Vito and Sue are hosting their 1st Annual Customer Appreciation Day today, Sunday, August 5/07 from 6:00 am with coffee and doughnuts and a BBQ starting at 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be a draw at 3:00 pm for three prizes. Please stop by and let us say thanks to the great customers that we have had at Love To Fish Simcoe over the last four years.

Hi All ...well Mrs Horseshoe n I managed to get to Love2Fish today for a wee visit and of course a nice lunch. Sue and Vito were pretty busy on arrival and lots of people there but the hosts managed to make time fer everyone and as they always do made us right welcome. Got to chat a bit and Sue gave me a quick tour of the bed n breakfast facilities...by golly was right nice tooo ...gotta say this for anyone wanting to come to Lake Simcoe for a few days to fish better book now as shes got a great spot there.
Also met up with Mike and his lady ...a pleasure for sure ...shhh but i think she outfishes Mike ,,,dont mention i said that huh...as things slowed a wee bit i remembered my camera ...thank goodness i remember to put my memory card in and I grabbbed a few quick pixz ... Ill post a few and for those who were nervous of Mike in them shorts he didnt wear those today ...thank goodness....
I am guessing Sue will post the prize winners later on ...alll in all it was a nice day
From all of us to Sue and Vito ...a great BIG THANKS !!

Horseshoe and I went in for a visit to see Vito and Sue at Love to Fish Simcoe... They've been busy in there.. putting in a new and bigger minnow tank to serve the customers better.
Vito's got 17 huts this year, of which 7 will be stationed for whitefish.. They're all ready to go. If you're hoping to get a hut for the Hardwater Challenge, Vito says book it early, because they fill up fast for the weekends.
Out of town guests can call up for accommodations as well, but again, do so early as the weekends fill fast.
We'll have more specifics in a couple weeks but Vito's got some rods and reels for the prize packages and he wants to make sure we have enough for at least 2nd place finish for all the categories. As we get the details worked out, we'll update the prize page for the derby - maybe it was the fumes from painting the minnow tank haha but we're happy to have Love To Fish Simcoe as a friend of the board and taking an active interest in our derby and providing us items for our promotions which we try to do monthly.
We'll do a Love To Fish First Ice contest... details are still being worked out but the idea is guess which day that Vito first puts out his ice huts and you can win a free hut for the day. Save your guesses for now, as we work out the details. More on this in the upcoming weeks!
Anyways it was great to see them, make sure you pop in there for anything you need to get ready for the upcoming ice fishing season.
