2 Old Farts from London who enjoy testing our luck on the Thames want to say hi.
Bottom Feeders is our usual game using light tackle and what ever is left over in the fridge!
We could use some tips on Bass fishing in the London area!

Welcome to Go Fish! Glad to see some more joining from the London area. The last time I fished down that way was in the mid 70's so I don't have any hot tips for you, but I look forward to any stories and pictures that you can post!. Good luck!

Hey Just Peachy,
Thanks for the warm welcome. Looking forward to catching some rays and maybe catch that fish of my dreams. Water levels are still too high to tug that big one in!
Hows life in Barrie, Ontario Canada treating you?
I have not been up there for some time.
Any fishing tournaments scheduled for this year?
If you make it down to London, try the "fork of the thames".
Hoping you'll pull them all in!

Hello Horeshoe,
It's good to hear from a fellow fisherman.
A tale worth remembering - My family and I did a day trip to Grand Bend. On our way home we came across a small inlet along the highway outside of Parkhill. There were still a couple of daylight hours left so we pulled over. I always carry some fishing gear with me everywhere I go!
"The 257-acre Parkhill Reservoir might be one of those sleeper hotspots that crappie anglers dream about."
We dropped a line from shore and started pulling in a variety of smaller fish. My daughter decided to give it a try. On her first cast not 6 feet from shore she caught something really big!
She shouted for help and Dad was pleased to assist. Let me tell ya, there's not much room on light tackle for 3 or 4 hands but we managed to set the hook! We pulled in an 8+lb large mouth!! What a fine finish to a super summer day . . . we practice catch and release so I'm glad to say that grandaddy of a fish is back in there waiting for me to pay him a visit again this year!
Thanks for the warm welcome, dokdok

Well dokdok I got to tell ya that I feel a story coming on and it starts something like this. We decided that we would take a chance that the ice would be out on the last Saturday in April up north. So we packed our bags and headed out for a day of fishing some of the scrappiest fishes around.
How does that sound so far and you may have to look for the post to follow next week now.

Hey Wired,
I'm a little teary eyed just thinking about it!
I can't wait to hear the rest of your story.
Fish wrestling is one of my favorite sports!!
