Hi all I go by the handle   Dunny  and I am very new to fishing on Lake Simcoe.

I have been in the Kawarthas the past 25 years and am very much looking forward to Simcoe.

Im very excited about the bass season opening next weekend. I am going out of pefferlaw and would appreciate any hints on good spots close the that area

Thank all

Hello dunnnnnny !! welcome to gofish and i hope you'll enjoy ....lotsa good fishers here for sure ...just keep an eye for the bass posts they should be commin soon along with some great pictures n reports. Simcoe holds some really decent   size bass and althought i dont target em i do catch the odd one ...use the search tool just under the header and search bass and you'll like find a few good reports from last year...i have heard reports that beaverton way thre are some great areas for bass so maybe someone form that area can help you out ...good luck and hope to see some great reports c/w pictures from you

Thanks Horseshoe

I had a great day on the shoal by Duclos Point and found some great rocky areas by Georgina Island

Was a beautiful day and there were lots of boats on the lake for a change  I guess summer is really here

Ill give it another shot next weekend\

Thanks again
