Not sure what Kon Tiki is LOL.
In regards to the right depth....... i think that will be the challenge of the day. I am pretty damn anal (so she says) when it comes to fishing detail so i will pass on to you whatever i can figure out.
Thanks again everyone, you have all been a great help to me. Now it's my turn to to see if i can put it all to good use LOL.

Hi Birddogin ...Kon tiki is a private marina on the west side of cooks bay its orange in color ...if ur in the area u wont miss it lol...its kind of a landmark ...lol

Boy what a miserable wet day here in barrie area...buttttttt as i sat in Timmy Hartens shop sucking back a cuppa with an ol friend ya never guess who walks in ...yup it was ...i looked out window saw a truck towing a boat and a young man riding shotgun ...it was no other that Birddogin and his young man ...great to meet ya Bird and i aint gonna tell any of your fish tales n adventures I'll let you post up a great report...so we can all share ...we'll see you on the ice soon
