Hi I am just taking a moment to introduce myself I am newly getting into fishing haven't been since I was a kid. my g/f and I have been hitting a few small rivers this year but looking forward to getting out more next year. I will welcome any advice and tips or some locations to try but we are limited to what river banks we can go to since my g/f has an artificial leg and has some trouble walking on uneven ground.
well happy fishing to all hope to see some of you on the banks.

Big hello to you Hookerman and Welcome to GoFishOnt.

Thanks for the intro and I'm very glad to see another river bank fisher join the membership!

Now I've been known to have trouble walkin' on uneven ground myself hahaha so pier fishin and dock fishin' and beach fishin' is probably the best way to enjoy your time out there!

Maybe if you nose around a bit first and then complete the area that your from in your profile, we could better serve ya and gets you some new spots to try OK.

This link might work to get you back to your profile setup:

Lots of great members here that will support you, so just holler if ya need us!

Well, If I remember right, Listowel Ont is located north of Stratford and east of Goderich ... so there is some fine fishing right there and not too far to travel.

Goderich offers some real nice opportunities, especially when the salmon are running and Stratford has beautiful river and park areas that would be accessible (don't forget your picnic basket lol). Exeter is pretty close and I caught some nice bass out that way this year too!

Good luck with your fishin' adventures :P droolin' ~dokdok

Hello Hookerman and welcome to go fish...I am sure both you and your sweetheart will enjoy the board ...lotsa fun great people and fishers hang about. We're starting to get excited for ice season now and theres lots of chances to do that even ur way and on many lakes ...theres likely still some pretty decent river/dock fishing down ur way as ur a bit milder there than the barrie area ...will look for your posts and pixz and the fishtales...and none of us lie about the size of the one that got away .,...hahaha
