Went to spring bank park, it was pretty bad with the days being so warm a ridiculous amount of birds there and dirty and low water levels, still had a fun time though, my brother got his first on the fly a little 5 inch bass

It was the one not too far from the byron bridge, it seemed pretty dirty tho a lot of gunk laying around next to the river. This weekend we're heading towards the pleasant valley trout farm.

More volunteers are needed to keep up with the river bank refuse on a regular basis.

yeh thats the one, http://www.pvtrout.com , you can fish all year round, they've got a bunch of ponds, they're all catch and release (with pike bass sunfish etc) and you pay 5 bucks to fish those all day) then you get the trout pond where you can keep what you catch and pay 3.50 per pound of fish. It's a very nice place as in the setting, bunch of deer and turkeys around too. It's almost owrth it just to see the size of the trout that jump at dusk!

It was a small rainbow like 6 inches, most of them go back, i only keep ones big enough to eat and only one maybe two of them. I suspect we might be going to the trout farm tonight! I got a new fly, a little ant so I wanna try that one out too. Last night I saw a monster fish, I suspect a pike it headed downstream. As soon as I get a pair of waders there'll be no stopping me. ANyway the reason I don't keep the fish down there is because the situation is pretty bad, overfishing and a lot of junk laying around people leaving hooks, line and all sorts around and it's a shame really
