dokdok,
The family is doing well thanks, starting to get some sleep! I managed to get out a bit when we were back home in Corunna. My brother in-law and I did some perch fishing. I caught a beast, around 14" not sure of the weight, but he was a big guy for sure. Of course my cell phone died as my brother in-law was getting ready to take a picture, damn batteries! It's a bit hard for me to plan things right now, if I get out, it's with pretty short notice and only for an hour so.

I had a drive by the ponds there in Komoka last night, trying to calm the baby down. I took glendon then went down komoka rd towards the speedway, which isn't the way I usually go. I noticed on the left hand side there was an entrance to the ponds. I saw some cars parked and what appeared to be guys in waders fishing. There was a sign saying something about certain activites being prohibited but fishing wasn't mentioned. There was another sign that said something along the lines of the triangle pond located northeast is private and not allowed to be fished. Sounds to me like the other ponds are open game. I'll let you know if I get out to futher investigate. If you get out there before me, keep me posted.

| Well I missed the trout farm this weekend BUT I went fishing today at the kirkton gravel pit and holy smokes, what a find. We were catching bass like crazy, nothing smaller than 10 inches. My friend pulled out a good 18 incher. I had a big one that was leaping and fighting like crazy and got off 5 feet from me (it was kinda dissapointing because I knew i'd be getting the ''one that got away stuff'') but it must have been 18 inches at least (I figured the measurements from the rock where the bugger got away). We spent a good 3 hours in the rain and in the water fishing hard as hell and it was f@%$# excellent!

you will see as soon as you turn off quaker road it turns to gravel, just keep going (east geographically speaking) then you will see the sign on your right and it's just a bit down there,
When you get there, you are allowed to fish the ponds after paying but if you want to fish the trout pond you have to park by the main building (so they can check you catch)

RB says he gonna try and make it tonite too! Hope he brings his game ... yeah, try and rattle old dok's chains a bit by catchin' a monster ..... hahahaha
Oh shute, that reminds me ... gotta check doks reel ... he may have broke it last time he lost his temper with me (lol).
