Hello fishers and music lovers.

I thought I'd remind the London and area members and guests that Sarnia Ontario has a lot happening this weekend!!

Yeah, how about a little Rock Bass Fishin' .... sounds like fun eh!!

Check these events out!

Bayfest - Get to see some pretty good bands play! ... Centennial Park is located in downtown Sarnia; Front St. at Exmouth just south of the Front St. exit of Hwy 402

And you could also do a little pre-fish to get ya ready for the Canadian Open of Fishing Tourney on July 25, 2008

http://www.sarniasports.com/canadianfishing/amateur.htm

This month, a total of 60 amateur anglers will compete alongside 60 professional anglers during the first two days of the inaugural Capital One Canadian Open of Fishing, presented by Shimano. Scheduled to take place from July 25-27 in Sarnia, the tournament’s amateur field will feature competitors of all ages and levels of experience.

Michael Kent, 15, (Cookstown, Ont.) is the youngest amateur competitor entered in the tournament.  A member of the Barrie Bassmasters fishing club, Kent has eyes on pursuing a professional angling career.

And my fav ... Bob Izumi will be there too!

What ever your plans are, I hope you have a great time doin' it ! ~dokdok

We made it to Sarnia, Ontario yesterday ... (heres some links to check out)

We drove by the Centennial Park area and over 15,000 fans were rockin' the town at Bayfest!

We talked to some local fans and they really enjoyed Rascal Flatts!

and some local fishers I talked to are rooting for Local fishing pro' Jeff Glass at the upcoming Capital One Canadian Open of Fishing Tournament on July 25!

We had a great afternoon in Sarnia and I hope to make it back to watch the tourney events!! Hope you had a fun day too! ~dokdok

Local kids stay cool ... Although I don't recommend it for your kids but this sure looked like fun ... !! (Jumpin' off the pier under the bridge to USA)

PS. Not a fisher in sight along the harbour!! That squashed my chances of getting my line wet :(.
