Hey Horseshoe, I couldn't make it to Sarnia this weekend ... maybe next time

Dok and I took a little drive to an old favorite spot about 20 km southwest of London in a little town called Delaware. We stopped at the local tackle shop to get some bait and fishing supplies and quickly headed back to the river before the rain started.

There were quite a few fishers there too, but as soon as the rain started everyone cleared out quickly. I was quite annoyed of the litter left on the shores thou. Just letting all you vistors know that the locals who live in this area deserve better ... I spent some time cleanin' the mess up from the shoreline and placing it in the trash can about 20 feet away. Boy I was hoppin' mad!!

Don't be a Litter Bug!! :(

Dok and I wore the wrong colored hat today!! :( Score was tied ... One each in about an hour of fishin'. We were a bit disappointed but had a lot of fun while we were there!! Here's some pics of the days events ... Hope ya had a Great Day!!!

Catch and Release, you'll be Glad ya did tomorrow! ~dokdok

This is a great area for canoeing!

Dok is all smiles with his new GoFishOnt hat on!

I was teasin em' a bit (lol) ... Dok hates slimy catfish!!

More rain to follow ... so we called it a day! ... We'll be back Delaware!!

Was it the Delaware conservation are you guys were fishing at, if you don't mind me asking?  It's on my list of places to check out along with the Sharon Creek conservation area.  It never ceases to amaze me the crap that people leave behind.  I find the Killworth area has a lot of litter too.
