Anyway, when RB visits this weekend, he'll give us an update and maybe we post it here ... updates to follow :cool:

This weekend we're heading towards the pleasant valley trout farm.

Pleasant Valley Trout Farm... that's out near Sparta Ontario isn't it!?!
Last I heard, you can fish there all year round. Not too far from London either.
Yeah, Gets the family to drop me off at the ponds while they go to the Sparta Country Candle store! That'll be a great liitle trip this fall ... hahaha

yeh thats the one, http://www.pvtrout.com , you can fish all year round, they've got a bunch of ponds, they're all catch and release (with pike bass sunfish etc) and you pay 5 bucks to fish those all day) then you get the trout pond where you can keep what you catch and pay 3.50 per pound of fish. It's a very nice place as in the setting, bunch of deer and turkeys around too. It's almost owrth it just to see the size of the trout that jump at dusk!

Ontario Fishing & Trout Ponds is located  1 KM. north of the town of Durham, on the west side of the road. Fire# sign 313706. Look for the PUBLIC FISHING SIGN.

Dok and I slipped out after dinner last night ... Ended up in Sparta area.
Thought we'd see what this Pleasant Valley Trout Pond was all about :D
No trout fishin' during our visit thou ... Dok was after a big pike!

Great place for the kids! As always, we had a lotta fun! :P droolin' ~dokdok
