Fish were spooked today ....

Dok and I ventured out to new territory today and with Halloween around the corner and the wet dreary weather forecast threatening to dampen our spirits .... well, we weren't sure what to expect ...

We followed a path down to the river banks and the wind was whistling thru' the fallen leaves that blew from the trees and come to rest on the shoreline.
It was an eerie feeling let me tell ya .... dok was turnin' white as a ghost

Perspiration could be seen starting to form on his forehead....
You could hear noises around us but we turned and saw nothing there. Boy this was getting really spooky.

We both felt a cold chill and then suddenly there was a mysterious change in the way we saw the river ... It was like we had night vision in daylight and the river went completely silent. I took a look at dok and could not believe what just happened ...

He transformed into a fisher monster! And, I guess I did too !!!

Dok says fish are biten and I'm getting real hungry so lets get at er' ....

And then Dok gets a big hit and rips off his mask and Oh nooooooo. Line snaps ...

Well, I says to Dok, thats not gonna happen to me today so I calls on the voodoo magic of the Thames to bless me line ....

Time was standing still again and the river went silent ...
Boy this was spooky and right before my eyes the rod floats to me hands and poof the line come to life .... fish monster on!!!

Guess who got skunked again .....

I hope I chilled and thrilled ya!

Has a Happy Halloween little fishers !! :P droolin' ~dokdok

Oh, I beg to differ with ya scugog... I try not to travel very far this time of year especially if the forecast is rain. Some place local with an overpass to protect ya from the elements is always nice hahaha and if you can find those spots within walking distance from downtown then you may see us landing a few more ...
They were tasty too! :P droolin' ~dokdok

Watch out for those creatures and goblins haunting the river thou' ....
Scary lookin fellas :D ... Glad you liked the post!!

PS. Hows the walleye fishing going? I'd sure like to catch one from the Thames soon!
