Fishing for eyes is as as good as I have seen it right now off of Port in 65 foot of water. Boated 19 in the morning with my daughter on board then took a client out in evening and got 2 person limit from 5:30 to dusk one wieghed in at just shy of 11 pounds which was surprising as it was not very long but was pretty well fed though.

Fishing was fast and very hectic so not many good pictures but if your looking for a good day of walleye fishing I would get out there.

Nice fish, I'll be out there all day on Thursday, might see you out there. Gotta stock up for the winter.

Were you by your waypoint or mine?

Hey Dave that big walleye looks like it could have VHS virus, with the red shading around the bottom fin, bottom of the fish, on the fin and the ragged bottom fin . Did you check the gills. stomach, kidney?

Matthew all I saw was very healthy well fed walleye.  As far as the picture I have no clue what you are seeing.

PS  The big one was sent in for a mount and unless the taxidermest eats it no one else will.

As you can see your walleye looks very similar to this VHS affected Sheephead.
