Hey Diblysound.... I dont fish down that way so hopefully others can help steer ya... if you're willing to make the trip to Lake Simcoe then just about anywhere in Cooks Bay is good for pike..

Did you see Ice Guy's musky pics from Lake St Clair? you may want to consider a trip there which I'm guessing is closer to you.

Puslich lake in Cambridge is loaded with pike. There's bass and a few walleye there as well. Perfect for a small boat. If you have a large boat Long point bay(erie) has bigger pike.Hope this helps! Good luck.

Try where the Thames empties into Lake St. Clair. I hear they are catching lots of big musky in there now!

i have caught pike and bass at the bottom of fanshawe dam and  anywhere along the shore above the dam you can catch bass
Mill pond in dorchester haven't been there in a few years but were tons of bass to be caught, and if you cross the little dam they have and follow the trial after about a 3-5 min walk the shore kinda curves in and that use to be a hot spot for pike, never seen any caught near the damn or the rocks but the houses

one spot I found that is about 30 minutes north of London, just out side the town of exeter.

it is down a road where the bridge is out, and there is a dump and a gun club there,

there is also Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Carp, and God-knows what else in there, that is just what I've seen/caught

Hey Googliani, Welcome to Go Fish Ont. !!

I think I may have fished that spot before. Was it Morrison Dam? Am I close?

Looking forward to hearing your fishin' adventures! ~dokdok

It is about 5 minutes past morrison dam, you hit the road that is a couple hundred metres north of there, turn left, and follow it until you have a chainlink fence with "Deep water" signs on it.

there is a road right at the end of the fence where you turn right and down at the end of that section of the road is a pretty good fishing spot, but people seem to think its a good idea to break beer bottles and leave garbage everywhere, so you have to be careful when bringing fishing in, watch were you place them if you have to set them on the ground.

also, BRING A NET! I didn't do that the first time I went there, and sure enough, there was a 20 pound plus Pike on the end of my line, got him up to the edge of the concrete, grabbed the line, and the he broke me off (I use 8 pound test for most pruposes, only going lighter)

me and my Dad went back there again and he caught a Pike, and I caught a Smallmouth and a pretty big Crappie, almost 4 pounds I'd think.

the key to fishing Morrison Dam (for smallmouth and rock bass) go to the bottom of the dam, there is an area that is basically like a playpen for fish that get washed over the dam, and I have caught tons of bass down there, but never any on the top.

apparently they stock Rainbow trout in there in the spring, but that doesnt look like a good rainbow habitat at all
