Hi all

Was out with some good buds  this weekend  down on the bay of Quinte. Friday I hooked up with Hawg Hunter and another good angler/ guide  Bill and went out scouting for gold,  walleye gold that is. Now for some reason they are not biteing like last year but Hawg Hunter tells me were to go (he goods  at that...  lol)  and I sets my hut in about 15 feet of water. After haveing a few problems getting out and parking TigerMusky and I gets to fishing! The perch are a pecking at our lines then... a lite bite and I got a walter on. With the help of my son I gaff( something I hardly do) a 7 pounder (Hawg hunters honest weight) . Man that guy is good !I guessed it was  5 to 6 (way under) That nite I hook up with Ravine Rat and Fishchaser and catch up on old  times.Next day, 5 am sat we are up and running  I go to clean off my crap box van and guess who shows up Our buddy Sunfish! Off to point Anne Thanks To  Hawg Hunters Directions! We fish for the day and it a slow day fishing! Run and gun and the only Guy to Ice a walleye was Fishchaser. A nice eater about 2.5 to 3  pounds ( my guess) Not  a lot of people catchin!  TigerMuskey was hitting the perch and got one nicehit  on in the hut but sadly missed it. I got to thank Ravine Rat for his help this weekend as I am a city boy and have trouble with country   things like backing up a trailer long distances as well as his execelent take on things. yes I do listen! this Guy knows his stuff! Sunday we pack it in as the slush on the ice is to much and the storm they called for (80 plus winds and white out are to much) hit us it was the right call! (RAVINE RAT AGAINl) Thanks guys for another great weekend!

take Care

(Prices were better than up here)The display with the Owl and the Partridge is really out of this world. There were  lots Pictures all over of  fish caught (lots of Hawgs clients)  You got to check this place out!!! Great fish there Barry. It was a long way to go for me to catch Perch all day but it take up the bordem. Sounds like a slow weekend from other reports I've read.

Looks like you guys had a good time. Sorry I couldnt get there. Maybe next time. I'm hoping to get out this weekend if everything goes well. Depending on my wife. We shall see. Good call on leaving early. Thats not a good place to be with high winds. I will let you know when I plan on going again.

Hi bigman 33

hello there Fishingbarry there were a few fish caught that sat 14 by my customers,no biggies 5 1/2 was the biggest but 1 good angler goes by the name of Bramptonjerry lost a 7-8lb whitefish at the hole,my bud knows and seen it first hand ,untill the hook flew out and hit him just below the eye:shock:,boy was that close.
by the way did we ever get into them tonight 6 of us had a great time 4 lads in huts did well and me and my bud iced our count.
