Well in less then 2 hours hard water walleye will be finished here in the Quinte area for 2008. Went out to wind down the season with my wife and ended up with perch. The funny thing was that we did not see many people out in the area on the 2 ramps that we checked out. I was sure we would have seen a lot of traffic with this being the season close out but not the case.
This was a lot better ice season for me in comparison to 2007 since the day before the 2007 maiden voyage I tore up my back and syatic nerve on my right side. Did not even get onto the ice for a fish last year. Oh well that is all behind us so on to the next adventure, we are still trying to get to Simcoe either next weekend or later on the closer for Whites and Lakers on the next.
Thanks to the guy that stop on our way out to fish that drove my wife and myself out on the tailgate of the Green Ford 1/2 ton. Whomever you are it was greatly appreciated.
