i usually try to head down to the kiwanis walleye world but didnt make it down last year..it's may 3rd and 4th which would coincide with with first say in may.

we've been talking about organizing a quinte walleye trip in may.. i'm curious if people would prefer to do it with the tournament or a different weekend.. I can tell you now it will be hard to get accommodations at the last minute on this weekend.

more info at:

HI Guys

TigerMusky and I went down last year for the operner With the OSF board last year. What a zoo opening is down there! Not much was caught . The local expert told us that they were still spawning (late spring) . I expect the same this year. HorseShoe if you truly want to be put on the fish get in touch with Hawg Hunter Guide service. Man that guys good!

Take care

HI  FB...yes i gotta agree with you re the spawn etc,,,the way i see the ice here on simcoe it will be a wonder it melts for whitie opener, i was out for a few hrs yesterday perching and i dont think we drilled thru less that 18 inches of ice..so a trip that way wont be early for me shuld i get the chance to go ..gonna have to warm quick and we dont want that either ...still a lot of snow around here...but mother nature will look after us i'm sure...guess mother nature doing the conservation thing to us ..lol...tc

Hey FishingBarry..

We'd caught a few eyes that weekend. A 7+ took 1st at the our trailer derby that weekend. The fish I didn't weigh in at the OSF M&G took 2nd.. That OSF M&G was for you guys and your kids.. I'll stay in the Glenora area, it's reliable.

horseshoe..

It's snowed that weekend before.. No biggie.. Brother I can't wait!!! Vibrax & Erie Dearies rule!!

Wishing everyone's 2008 fishing season is the best ever, and a safe one too.

Tight lines to all!!:)

horseshoe..

I like the vibrax #3 with hot pink bell with silver, or the flo red/orange with brass.

E. Dearie chart & green.  That E.D. has also put so many muskie in the boat it ain't funny..

FishingBarry..

Thanks again for thinking of me this past January, I really enjoyed hooking up with you, young TigerM, RR, Fishchaser, & Hawg Hunter. I hadn't wet a line since September.

Thank you for the nice welcome back fellas, let's kick this puppy into gear and go fish'n!!:)

PS.. Thought I'd shared my son & I's last September outing with you good folks but couldn't find it.. Earie Dearie & worm & drift slow.. =s
