If you're looking for the whole package it's tough to beat the Sportsmans lodge up at Kukagami Lake east of Sudbury. My buddies had a blast on the quad trails and my brother and I boated a bunch of pan-size and up pickerel on Kukagami and Matagamasi lakes. We had good success for the first time in the area.
P.S. A spare prop is always a wise piece of kit in the shield lakes

Been there quading before myself. Haven't been up since the new owners took over. Sure are lots of great lakes up there. One of the reasons I had put a canoe rack on my quad was to access the remote lakes.

Hey Red, very observant indeed! Ya we did mark a few choice shoals...If ya ever want em lemme know
RR, The new owners are pretty good folks, they are kind of living every southern outdoorsmans dream ( Move way the hell up north and run a lodge)
It was funny when we ask for a few tips, the owner was sending us into the main lake, but we caught the most eyes 500 yds from the lodge...
Left us wondering if he was just learning the lake or if he was protecting his private stock. he he
