After 2 unsuccessful trip for Whities on Simcoe. Shovel and I decided to go after Lakers again.
This was how successful we were on Simcoe.
Picked up Shovel at 4am. Hopefully this time he won't fall asleep again.
Decided to try a new place. 5 min after setting up, Shovel lands the first fish of the day.
The next 3 hours at the spot resulted in 2 hits and no fish. We had a few visitors on the ice that kept us company.
At 12:30, we moved to a new location. Once again Shovel gets the first fish.
We ended up landing 8 fish and took these guys home for dinner.
We got to get together next hard water season, I had the opposiite, did great on the Simceo whities (thanks to a buds secret spot/lure) and not one laker. thanks for shareing.
