I know this week has been good for snow melt but bad for ice conditions. Is there any good ice left from Innisfil beach down to Gilford? Waubieman and I are up for one more kick at the bucket if we can find a good spot for tomorrow morning. Thanks!

| I'm not sure about west cooks, but I took a look-see at the docks here in Barrie and there is still a lot of ice, 16"+.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Hey Jon, I was by the docks too and it does look good but I haven't heard much being caught there recently.

I hear ya Peachy, I walked around five docks and I seen two sets of holes other than the two I drilled (Ok guilty , I said I was done with the ice fishin a few weeks ago, but I broke out the lightly-dusted gear today for an hour ) I landed some, mostly around 7-ish inches and a couple were in the 10 area.

Don't forget JP as there are lakes up north that still have ice but I don't think that it will last long. Was in the Haliburton Bancroft area to day and there is still 2 feet of ice up there. There is about 3 inches of black ice at the bottom and 20 to 21 inches of white ice on top and starting to look punky ( I give it a week maybe 8 days at the most). Could have been the best trip this year and the last real ice trip so here is a couple of pics for today.
