Well Saturday was the last trip onto the ice for me. Waubiman and I headed to Lou's for minnows just before 7:00am, he had 8 scoops left. Down the road a wee bit and made it to Innisfil Park. It was a good walk out and only 5-6 guys out there. Punched a few holes and there was 4" of white ice and 14"+ of black ice. The bite was really lite, so changed the presentation a bit and locations a few times. By 8 there were a bunch of guys out there and the bite was picking up. by about 11:30 no more bites but I had 24 perch and Waubiman had 30. We headed off by 12 and the ice was really getting soft and the shore was starting to crack and open water was showing in a lot of spots at shore. We had a great day out there... tans and lots of fish.  Ended up with a few families together and a big fish fry!!

I would like to thank all for making this a great hard water season, lots of new friends and hooked up with a few old ones.  See you soon!!

Glad you made it out one last time JP... I was tempted but had a few things around the house to take care of..

All in all it was a great year on the ice... a little off in terms of the fishing, but still managed a few meals of fresh fish and good times on the ice with fellow board members... for that it's been a GREAT season. Can't wait to next year, now its time to clean the boat up and get it ready.
