Oh don't get me wrong, I am not for a second suggesting we should throw them all back, I like my fillets as much as the next guy. What I am saying is, yes the regs are in place that allow us to keep 1 fish over 18", but should we? I'm just wondering how much better the fishery would be if all or most of us decided to "limit our catch" when it comes to their size, not the number.

Anyway, just thinking out loud here. To each his own.

I am heading up to Marten River on Friday for 4 days, they have the same limitations there as well. Consdiering the cost of the entire trip, you can bet I will be bringing my limit home for the family come Monday.

Yep, Red Cedar Lake Camp. The weather is looking alright for the weekend, I am hoping the warming trend will turn the bite on as well. There are 14 of us going, should be a great time, will post when I get back for sure.
