By now the wind has picked up and theres a pretty steady breeze howling gently across the water but the SS Horseshoe handles the massive 1 foot waves no prollem and we cruised to our last port of the day ...and holly doodle we shulda been in this spot hrs ago ...but as luck has it we got about an hour as duty calls and we gotta git ..well the wind eased and the action heated up as we fought to keep em off the hook with the odd one accidently gettin the hook caught in its lip ...

Most fish were in the 10 - 12 inch range with a few real beauties mixed in all released to swim again and give us some action another day

There's a little channel in the south part of the bay with a small walk over bridge. The Crappies like it there early morning and when the sun goes down. Just east of there are some weed beds in about 8 or 10 feet that seems to hold them during the day.

Nice fishing guys!

Was great to be out on the water again horseshoe. Thanks for bringing the boat as it sure was more comfortable than mine. I'll take you to some more of these beauty lakes when you pick up a sled. We can do a day of it and hit multi lakes. Once we hit freeze up we'll head back in to this one again.
