Well it appears spring may come early as the weather pattern is about to change around Mid February. It appears the cold air will shift to the western portion of Canada leaving the Simcoe are in the warm air.

I would suggest getting in all the ice fishing in you can now because after the 12th of February things are going to flip the warm side.

well... that isn't what I wanted to hear! I know there were a bunch of us on the ice today and we sure didn't see any shadow! Well boys the time-line has been set... lets get hunting the whitefish cause we sure have had enough practice with the perch!

Accuweather and TWN both showing a cold spell but unisys still not showing that cold.

Guess we will have to wait and see. I am hoping my forecast was wrong and that it does turn colder.

Appearently this weekend it is going to be super windy, UP TO 100KMPH, hope the wind blows all that snow off the lake.

Something has to help the lake. All that snow sure is putting alot of pressure on the ice! Hope all make it out and back safe and sound.
