Smaller tribs are still iced over and larger open tribs that hadn't written off by noon where pretty well a right off by late afternoon, meaning mud stained conditions.
Spent the morning breaking ice for a couple of hours and by the time we had it removed, yup, 4" vis at best. Some days the excercise is better than the fishing.
On the upside, forecasters are predicting dropping temps next few nights which should lock up some of the mud and make for prime conditions into next week.

| The fishing picked up as we predicted. Actually Fishfinder, flies under float has been preferred diet of choice past few days.

| Oh man, everything to everyway. Most helgrammites, wigglers hackled out, and some pretty cool homemade buggie stuff. Tan to black is working. Guess with the stained water, if its a bug, they want it. Playing any pattern last few days has produced.
