Hey Kishon, Great place to live huh! Yeah ,GTA is centrally located to a lot of great fishin' areas and I know there are members here that will help you out and get you catchin' a few canadian monster fish (hahaha).

I am not from the GTA area but I did make a post not to long ago ... a link that referenced the Toronto and area fishing sites ... try this link OK! :P

hey Kishon.. welcome to the board...the obvious that hasnt been mentioned is Lake Simcoe!! less than an hour away, lots of species to target, and places to go on both on both the west (Lefroy, Cooks Bay) and east (Keswick all the way up to Sutton and beyond). Lots of great help here no matter where to decide to try your luck at fishing!

regards, Mike.

thnakz again, i would love to but i don't have a boat so most of the fishing that i do is in creeks and rivers, which is not too much fun i hope that i get a nice river or creek and catch a BIG one !!!!

It may be a wee bit of a drive but you can find some shore or pier fishing on Simcoe.

Read through some older posts for areas~

Simcoe is without a doubt one of the best smallie lakes around!
