Well I was part of a major restructure at work this week and now I am unemployed.
Yep the multi billion dollar corp I was working for said you must (newer term in corp. world) rightsize, so with that directive I along with many others and not sure how many there was became gainfully unemployed last Monday.
Left the Real Estate world about 8-9 years ago so as to give my kids a more stable homelife which now has been fulfilled. So off to begin on the trek to get my license back which will be a time consuming and a bit costly venture. Time I am hoping to keep to a minimal but that will be decided by the Ont. Real Estate Assoc. who can make me start all over with my accreditation.
Oh well enough whining in my coffee and thanks for the ear.
GO FISH......

really sorry to hear that Fry.... I've been lucky and havent had to go through that..but chin up... one door closes and another opens..

Dont werrie Fry ..ur a go getter ...reason for everything and i got feeling u gonna do ok ...sure is a skeery thing tho....u may have to become a fish charter service ....and fish ya way to success...

I am in the same boat as you Fry. My company went bankrupted in Sept and I have been out of work since. Trying to get my cleaning business off the group and looking for new work.
Good luck to you and look on the bright side. You have more fishing time.

Like I was saying not sure how many rec'd the one way door ticket last week, I know the company did a layoff 2 weeks before my group. I just rec'd a note from one of my ex associates and he says they are expecting more terminations again tomorrow.
Big business, sits down with you says " nothing personal, but we are letting you go"
How can that be NOT personal.........
Oh well on to my next venture in life.
See you on Sat. at the HWC, I will be the one trying to list and sell fish huts on Simcoe.
