OK i just gotta know ...its the latest i have heard about and the talk along the river banks with several i know ...who has one or is planning on buying one ...the carrot stix rod..

| These were mentioned in the last canadian outdoors magazine I bought.. the material was developed for fighter planes or something like that...supposed to be very strong and light.

I havent seen anyone with one or even seen em in any stores yet ...Mrs H has me on an extremely tight rope now and escape is almost zero...but i'm werking on a plan...so if anyone gets one or sees people with one get the guff from em and post please...thanks

ahhhhh ha so from that report i would take it that the guy you met with the rod ...was not talkatiff ...didnt care to share any info on the rod...wasnt a good fisher as he wasnt catching...wasnt talking cuz he was vex at not catching...u were to far away to communicate with ...didnt wanna to speak aloud for fear of spooking fish ....didnt like the rod and had nothing good to say so said nothing at all or ......you didnt ask him ...laffffinnnnnn would that be correct ?????

| well you did hit some good points there... I was close enought to hear him grunt that they wern't biting what he had on his hook... so I am not sure if he was grumpy that the only bend he got on his rod was from the snag or not. But it still looked like a nice rod... mabye I will ask the next guy I see if he likes it beter.
