Hello All ,

the weather is still looking pretty good for Sat so lets hope ...here is an update email from george /rsb  , pasted form an email

OK folks, glad to see the positive replies to the tourney.. Here’s what I got so far..

Tourney will be held at Sibbald Point Provincial Park on Saturday June 21 and starts at 7:30 am and will end at 1:00 pm, then food!! Entry fee is $20.00 per person with 100% of the money raised to be donated to Shane (Slyatv). I will be there about 6:30 to take names and collect the entry fee. Register when you get there.

There are a couple of prizes for the winner with the biggest fish, which will be determined by weight. Length then girth will be the tie breaker. One fish per person to weigh in. White fish and trout, I guess you could weigh in a perch but... lol.. Well, shit, a pike might win it??? There is a $100.00 gift card for BPS, some lures from some one who does not want to be mentioned. Love2fish Simcoe is donating a prize as well. THANKS SUE!! But remember folks, this IS NOT about prizes.

I think we should also have a 50/50 draw. 50% to Shane and 50% to the winning ticket.

People who have offered to bring things:

Keith – BBQ and fryer

FinnyB – BBQ and burgers

George – hamburgers and hot dogs with buns

Rainbow – 15 pounds of caribou sausages and buns.

Hey BWMB - Can you bring that digital scale of yours? Worked awesome in the past!

Need more food folks and some drinks. There will be at least two BBQ’s there for cooking.

Lockjaw – Since you can’t make it, you can send your entry fee to Shane:

Shane Llewellyn Young
16 Christidis Dr.
Jackson's Point , Ontario
Canada , L0E-1L0

Mariahboater – You asked about distance to Sibbald Point? Where are you coming from?

Maul - You can fish from shore but there may be people with an open seat for you on their boat. I am bringing my boat but do not know if I will be fishing, separated my right shoulder and it hurt like hell trying to fish yesterday so I am not sure if I will head out on the water or not. If I do not, 3 people are more than welcome to use my boat.

OK folks, not sure if there is anything else that I have missed? Any suggestions or comments are welcome and see you folks Saturday!!

George Ferreira

The morning seems to fly by and next thing we knew the lake had a bit of ripple on it so we relocated a bit closer to the launch area in case and by 11 30 or so the wind had perked the water and was gettin some chop to it so Mrs H called the shots a good call and we headed in for the lunch treat and some good ol chat ...doesnt take long and theres a dam fine meal whipped up ...thanks to the cooks and food prep peeps ...was good too ...
