I've been out of town so havent had a chance talk to him..

Not sure you're concern except maybe the color combo??

Once the logo is generated, I'll have him show it to me on various hats to ensure it doesnt clash.

I dont think the logo will be a separate badge per se, but sewn directly into the hat.. I'll check though.

Now that I'm back in Ontary-ary-o for a few days, I'll try to arrange what I can today for the caps.. I think we have enough to place the order, assuming there'll be a couple more that just havent spoke up yet. I'll try to confirm the price as well.

I just got back from the place for the caps. Unfortunately I didnt get to see a sample of the 4013 but he showed me some similar ones and explained the differences. I was quite happy with the hats I saw. The 4172 he had there in a dark blue and was really a nice nice cap.. the picture doesn't do it justice. The mesh is not plasticy looking, but a nice fabric.

I should have by Monday or Tuesday an exact cost of the artwork and embroidery, once he confirms that, I can set firm prices. Then it will only be a matter of the qty of hats to order along with style & color. Turnaround time for the order is 2 to 3 weeks to get them to me.

I can use a bubble wrap envelope which is closer to 3 bucks depending on size & weight (and can hold 2 hats), compared to $8 for any kind of box .

They also do lots of shirts, jackets, vests, windbreakers, etc etc etc, but lets worry about the hats for now :)

Olphart: the stiching goes right into the hat, not as a badge that's sewn on.

So by next week, we can start taking firm orders.

re: 4172 dark blue

If we decide to change our vote ... Is this item (as described) listed on the chart!?!

When is the cutoff date for an order. I may have another order comin in!! or could I place an order later? I'm thinkin once you start wearin'em ... everybody is gonna want one!!

the black is there in the poll... there's not a whole lot of difference between the black and the dark blue two but I did see the dark blue today. Maybe the dark blue would be nicer. I'll definitely order some of these as well.

Once I get the order system set up, we'll try to allow one or two color choices for any of the hat choices. He didnt seem to mind mixing and matching, but I'm sure everyone appreciates we canT have 21 different hats ordered :)

Mike,

I like the 4013 black and gold but I really don't mind any of the choices.  Please put me down for two.  If there are different sizes I would like one of the hats to be small as it will be for my 8 yr. old grandson.  I have a Paypal account so just tell me when you want the money and the name of your account.  I have been away for the past month it is gratifying to see this idea come to fruition.  Thank you.

thanks AcuteAngler.. I would have loved to have done it sooner but unfortunately, my work schedule is taking me out of provice every week right now.

The hats all have an adjustable band and are typically made for adults. I'll see if there's a smaller size available for children.

Folks my apologies for the delay..the original supplier I was going to go with was proving hard to get things done.. Not all his fault as I have been away a lot with work, but after weeks we still hadnt been able to get the artwork completed. I had booked a meeting for last friday (was planning to stay home to get this done) and he cancelled. Last straw.

Today I was able to meet another supplier and its all done, and even a slight bit cheaper too.

We won't be able to go with the same hats, and we'll have two simple choices - Navy Blue or Khaki.  100% lightweight brushed cotton twill. Low profile. 6 panels. Self-fabric closure with slide buckle. Stitched eyelets. The GFO Logo will be embroidered into the front.

Cost will be only $17.00 complete (includes taxes, postage and shipping)

To order go under My Account to the Subscriptions tab and in there you will see options for 1 or 2 hats of each color. This will take you to PayPal. If you're local to Barrie, we can make alternate arrangements.

As I've had to preorder, there will be only a limited number of the Khaki color available. If you want the Khaki color - DONT DELAY!

The hats are expected to be delivered to me in about 10 days. I will mail them to you right after.
