he was cheapest of the goalies signed... this one has me scratching my head... I'm sure we dont get all the facts.. but you had a 2nd goalie who wasnt quite good to be the starter,, yet you buy him out to get a different goalie. Not sure if Raycrafts salary counts against the cap now. I'm just thinking there's got to be a reason to spend the money.

the deal is NO Deal lol.. everyone is in awe he could ignore the 20mil Vancouver offered.
Sounds like they need Howie Mandel to moderate his progress.. Tell me Mats.. is it Deal or NO Deal... Mr Banker?? how much??

Sundin really needs to take the offer from Vancouver... yeah he was talking retirement but, a 2 year contract for 20 mil is a nice nest egg... what ever he does, he has to leave Toronto cause he sucks!!!
As fot the Leafs bringing back Joseph... who's next? Gilmore? Clark? Anderchuk? Tiger Williams?

I believe Finger does not have a no-trade/no-movement clause ... If things don't work out "adious"... who knows this guy might turn things around !! As far as Cujo goes it's a lot of money considering he'll be only be warmin' the bench  ... could be an inspiration to the team if you get my drift (haha).

They didn't, it was a lockout by management because they were sick of all the money being tossed around.
Anyhooooo, I hereby fearlessly predict that three things will happen in the world of professional sport before the Leafs win another Stanley Cup:
1) Cleveland will erect a statue honouring Art Modell
2) The New York Nationals will be declared NBA champions
3) Brooklyn will declare a Walter O'Malley appreciation day
